toyguy shifter

i just installed the 1 inch shortened shifter for my 2001.5 s4. the shifter feels stiffer throughout all gears, it takes more energy/effort to shift into gear, i was wondering if this is normal? or does it need adjustment? thanx

same issue. i adjusted the two hex bolts that connect the shifter to the car. now it's much better

it just takes a little playing with. the top screw is moving the shifter front or back,and the other one seems to be the left/right placement. mine feels pretty good now.
