Default Toyo Tires. I have a very slight bulge on the sidewall, should i be concerned?

The tires have only a few hundred miles on them tops, and I noticed one of my front tires has the slightest bulge on the side. Its like a bump that you might get if you bumped your head on something hard. Visually you can hardly see it but if you run your hand over it you can tell its there.

Should I get the tire replaced or is it safe to drive as is?

Replace it. If it's bulged at all, the belts are broken. Hopefully others will confirm this.

Default its called a bubble itn eh sidewall. i'd get off it ASAP.

drive slow and don't turn hard until you can get it replaced. once your tires heat up (for example hard driving plus hot pavement), the tire may pop from one of those bubbles...think of it liek a blister...

Default that's abuse and it's on your tab. Don't expect the tire to be covered by Toyo either.

Might look into road hazard insurance from your local tire store if they carry it. Will save you a few bucks the next time something happens to a tire.

Most likely from hitting a pothole .... warranty won't cover that. Unfortunately, these ultra low profile tires are easily damaged by potholes .... the sidewalls are too short to cushion against much impact.

Why should toyo replace it? Would you expect Audi to buy a new fender if you hit a mountain?

Default they have a 500 miles or 45 day trial offer.

"IF" bubble was a defect, they should replace it.

http://www.toyo.com</a
