Currently have koseis 17x8. looking to go 18 to upgrade front kit from 332 to 355 and also a little wider to accomdate wider tires. I am looking at getting a set that is 18x8.5 et40, I know for sure 235s will fit.anyone running 245 with no rubbing issues without having to sacrifice ride height? on any combo of wheel and tires.
thanks

Which car? On the B5 would you think that the added sidewall flex negates the extra tire patch achieved from going to 235 from 225?
I am going back and forth on 225-45-17 or 235-45-17 for track use.

i run dunlop sp supersport 235/40-18 tires on the track. they run very wide for their size designation (about as wide as normal 255's). if you have normally rolled front fenders and stock rear fenders you can get away with about 10.2" section width at a 35mm offset on your wheels at a pretty low rideheight (24.75 or so) without significant rubbing.

My ride height is pretty low in the back..so I may not fit 245s.
