Default Tranny fluid..... Motul or Redline MTL/MT90 mix? STFA'd but couldnt find anything
I've read mixed reviews about the two types of oils. What is better for the 6 spped?

What oil is best for the center and rear diff?

Motul Gear 300 for the gearbox, use a straight GL-5 for the rest.

Default Would the redline 75W90 Gear oil be good for the rear transaxle and center diff?
how much will i need?

Default So far I like the Motul Gear 300 over the Redline MT-90/MTL mix that I had in the gearbox.
Seems to be smoother.

Default I use a mix.....
....as recommended by my tranny guru.

1 part shockproof

2 parts MT90

Redline is my brand of choice.

Motul Gear 300 in trans and rear diff. with 30,000+ miles, and no problems.

I believe the center diff is "part of the tranny" and hence gets lubed via tranny fluid.

Default Shockproof, interesting: I do 1qt MTL : 1.5qt MT90.
What specific advantages does that mix provide?
