Default Shockproof is the worst thing you can put in an 01E

the additive powder clogs both the oiling passage in the input shaft (we have to pound it out with a hammer and a small welding rod) and the gravity/drip tray oiling stsyem in the center diff. I would recommend draining it out of your car ASAP and replacing with the MT90. These trans dont have the "shock load" of a dog engagement box making that fluid a bad idea for this application.

Thanks. I don't have any in my trans... thankfully. How about my MTL/MT90 mix?

MTL is a little light but if you are struggling with a slow shifting older trans it will help

Default I wouldn't say that: My tranny never had a problem...

But it cleans up the harder shifting in cold weather the car has had since day 1 and I'd think it helps lubricate the shift mechanism a bit more. I don't really see a downside for a street-driven car.

Default So a mixture of ...

... 1 Part MTL and 2 Parts MT90, or 2 Parts MTL and 1 Part MT90 for main gear oil change? I'm also planning to use Redline 75w90 in my rear diff.
