Tranny fluid..... Motul or Redline MTL/MT90 mix? STFA'd but couldnt find anything

Shockproof is the worst thing you can put in an 01E
the additive powder clogs both the oiling passage in the input shaft (we have to pound it out with a hammer and a small welding rod) and the gravity/drip tray oiling stsyem in the center diff. I would recommend draining it out of your car ASAP and replacing with the MT90. These trans dont have the "shock load" of a dog engagement box making that fluid a bad idea for this application.

I wouldn't say that: My tranny never had a problem...
But it cleans up the harder shifting in cold weather the car has had since day 1 and I'd think it helps lubricate the shift mechanism a bit more. I don't really see a downside for a street-driven car.
