Is you are going to rebuild the tranny, might as well do it right with Stasis.
As far as the center diff, I'm assuming are talking about the 4:1 diff they offer. Unless you are a person that loves to have the back end come around, or really really miss the way a RWD car drives, I'd say skip it. I have zero problem with getting the back end to come around in the snow. I think rotation on pavement is where the 4:1 really shines.
I've never driven in a car that has one, but I have driven plenty of RWD cars in the snow. They're fun, but I prefer the S in it's stock form for fun in the snow. That's just me though. I kind of think the 4:1 split is more of a track oriented mod.
I think Chuck has one, and I'm pretty sure Docwyte had one on his avant. Chuck loves his, maybe hit him up for a ride.
