Default tricky startup problem... really need help!
my car has problems starting up. sometimes it starts, sometimes it does not. i took it to the dealership twice already and the first time they replaced the MAF, and the car started for a day... then the car wouldn't start again, i had it towed to the dealership and they said it started fine. wtf is the problem with this car? anyone have any ideas? when it does not start, it just keeps cranking.

Default well, since you need spark and fuel to start a car - - have you verified there is no problem....
with either of those yet?

VAG-COM Codes?

Default i will check the spark plugs when i get home, but when the car drives it sounds fine...
so i doubt that is an issue. as far as gas goes, the car has half a tank...?

Not always, it eventually would, but it can cause poor/no starting without throwing one.

Well sometimes it starts up right away. There are no poor starts. It either starts or does not. =(

When it doesn't start, does it then only start after it has sat for a while?
