1st choice would be 235/40s for the extra width and lower profile but the whole reason im running 17s is because I need to keep my stock ride height and 18's would cause the 4x4 which I dread. So question is would the lower pro. 235/40s cause the 4x4 look also? And do the 235/45s look like too much sidewall on stock 17s or 17" rs4 reps? Maybe I just need to stick with the stock size 225's? Please help! car is out of commission till I make this choice and buy the tires.

I had 235/40-18 on a G35 and it looked nice... the 45's have too tall a sidewall.
