Default trying to get a handle on fuel delivery and duty cycles. little help

here is the thread where my train of thought originated.

basically what duty cycle is ok and whats the function of the ecu reading it. where does efficiency start to deplete?

orig thread

Default If your a/f looks good and you aren't knocking...

Then why are you worried? The fuel is obviously there, otherwise you would be knocking like crazy.
Obviously, a DC above 100% is concerning, but if you aren't leaning out and you aren't knocking, then you have plenty of fuel. Trust me, you know when you run out of injector.

Default For bigger snails? Scary stuff.

I would worry more about restrictions (fuel lines and rails) and fuel flow (big *** fuel pump) more than duty cycles.
I run 950's on my eclipse and it took a good amount of modification to the fuel system to even get it to flow that much fuel. Not so easy as changing out the injectors.
Duty cycles are pretty useless at that point. Tune with a wideband and knock. If your car leans out on the top end and your DC is really high, time to upsize.
