Default A tuner I spoke to mentioned that power loss code thown when the ECU...

Is swapped will clear itself after 11-12 starts. Is this true? If not, how big a deal is that code to the dealer? Will they buy the whole "my battery died" thing? More importantly, for the 20k service do they even plug into the ECU?

Default the battery disconnected code when you switch the ECU

It happens to most if not all of us. I don't remember if that code goes away with "X" number of starts. I know readiness codes do that (kinda), but that's different. I always said that I had stereo work done if I can't get them cleared in time, but then again, I could back it up easily.

Default No expert here, but...

From what i have heard, if you swap ECU's say from chipped to stock, the ECU will log a code that indicates that it lost power. Not sure what the code number is or anything, but it is there.

Interesting...no way of clearing that with the rest of the engine codes?

It goes away after a few hours of driving.

With A Vag I'm sure you probably can. I'm trying to avoid the expense right now.

Yes, it's the +B voltage low code. It remains until cleared.
