Which turbo is more likely to fail first. (Pass[right] or Driver[left] Side)????

I always thought that the right side had a more probability to fail due to the longer length oil lines and oil lines having over-heating issues being closer to the exhaust. Or do I have this reversed?
I was working on an issue this past weekend and noticed just a little oil in the left side pressure pipe (post IC's) & dry as a bone on the right side pipe (which was a pain to reassemble by the way).
I'm happy to see only that little bit oil on original K03 @ 96k.

the pcv recirculates vapors into the left side of the y-pipe under boost resulting in oil being pushed through the driver side turbo (and eventaully collecting in the driver side intercooler). some of that has got to eventually upset the balance of that wheel.
couple that with the stock pre-cat location and you end up with many instances of an oil-contaminated impeller wheel being cooked by post-shutoff pre-cat heat. not a good situation for that little K03.

a 01 or 02, as well as the heating issues you mentioned. On an 01 or 02, I think it would be a toss up.
