Hi MP, Perhaps I should put a IMHO in there somewhere
Have had the opurtunity to look into the manufacturing and repair end of turbochargers. There is usually no coking in a water cooled bearing housing.
Where I do believe in a small cool-down is whenever a car is driven in anger you will need to cool down some of the following:
Brakes,
Coolant may need to circulate through cooling system,
Underhood temps need to cool off.
As preventative measures no one should ever pull off the track, freeway-autobahn and just shut it down. It should be driven at reduced power and speed to allow everything to cool off.

were u some how able to change the screen red? because my greddy screen is blue, but flashes red...
it is a silver unit. i've only gotten the screen to stay red when reading the voltage. is there any way i can change it?

here is a pic of mine...i love it,,and it makes me feel better about making sure the car had proper
