Default Re: Please tell me why the diverter valves are SOOOOOOO expensive? (m)

I would never buy anything considered NEW with scratched off numbers. It's upsetting that someone is selling something that is off the shelf the masking it's identity.

Default you search and when you do find the number....

stick it up your ***. If you don't like the prices don't buy from him. Easy enough, or should you search some more on this one too.

Default I disagree I think it's BS to charge other people on the list for info

should we all withhold helpful info so we can make a profit off of each other?

It's just a stock Bosch valve, no content was added by them.

Personally, I think it's kinda sleazy.....

Whatever

Default Sorry to hear that Frank.

This subject has been dealt with over and over. I import the BPV at a higher cost. Several people on these forums have made side by side comparisons of my valve and the 102,108,710,710a,710b valves. All those people reported back that my valve is in fact different. I have not had a single request for a return and have nothing but happy customers that report improvements just like I claim. I make very little money on it. It reality its not a bad deal at all for a part that works and looks stock.

What do you guys have to gain by trying to prove me wrong? Its as if you think you guys will gain popularity if you some how prove that I am wrong on this. I have sent out valves to people to test. People just like you and Matthewk that think I am wrong.. ALL of those people reported back that I am not "screwing" anyone.

If you dont like me or my products then simply do not buy them. I hate to loose a customer but its as simple as that. I could care less what valves you run or what parts you use.

Do we all need to go down this road again?

Clark

Default Don't nail yourself to the cross Just yet. I'm not saying that the valve isn't good, nor do I

think you should stop selling it.

I wish you could just leave the part # on it and explain that shipping and duty are some of the reasons for the extra expense

would you like it if Audi ground off the part numbers of the parts on our car and made sure no-one but the dealer had the ETKA?

I'm sure the UUC SS kit doesn't cost them $250+ to make but, I also know that I couldn't just go to a machine shop and do it for the same price

and if your getting them in Bulk then I imagine it's worth a small premium for people to buy it through you.

I looked at your site and it has a lot of great kits up there. Plus the Intake kit looks like a nice original idea.

I just think grinding part #'s off is beneath you

Default I wouldn't wipe my *** with LLTEK

BTW are you his business manager or pimp or something?

b/c you don't have an S4 or even a 1.8T

so you wouldn't know how it feels to be in our situation.

In fact, I can't remember seeing your name on the S4 forum before today. Do you get payed to spam?

I can't see how it even effects you unless your his friend or business partner

Default I am glad you like the site.

I understand your point.

We have spent alot of time on the site. I hope it is worth while and people enjoy it. This thing all started because people wanted the parts I made or had made for my car. I hope price does not become as issue. Its cost a fair amount of money to get this deal going. I always will try to keep prices down as much as I can.

Thanks again.

Default screw the price!, leave it as it is.. cheapest on the market anyways

just leave the part # on it.

Just stop selling a mystery part

I know many Volvo and Saab Bosch valves can retail for $50-$60

$90 is not so gawd-awfully expensive

How about this for a "site-warming" gift?

Give everyone the part #?
