turbos sound different this morning...
For the last 60k miles or so (at 161k now) I have been hearing what sounds like a tea kettle when under boost. This morning while passing a car I hear the "dentist drill" people have described. Boost still spikes at 1.1 bar and holds well. I probabably have the longest lasting turbos in the world to last this far I suppose, especially chipped for over 110k miles.

Actually, I confused two cars ... only 142,000 miles (228,526 kilometers) :-pp ...
My feeling is that if you get a good turbo and treat it well, it will just go and go and go.
