Took my 2000 S4 in to the dealer to check out a siren-like sound, and guess what. Said my turbos were shot. I have 43k miles on the turbos and am looking at a $6k repair bill! Anyone have any advice of information I can use with the dealer or AOA to get them to cover?

AOA to cover part of the bill as a "good will" gesture. They did it for me at 53,000miles (out of warranty for mileage not time) - although, I ended up getting KO4s later anyway (there were NO kits available at the time I did this)

You could try calling AOA and asking - the worst that can happen is that they say NO...

Also, if you're paying out of pocket - DO NOT get KO3s in there......

Lastly, it should not cost you $6000 for new turbos alone.

find a good shop that will do ko4's it will cheaper.

see if you can get AoA to ehlp you out a bit as a good faith repair...major failure just 7K miles after warranty sucks...

Since you are a 2000 S4 has your warranty ended? If so find a independant repair place and get K04's
