It's not that hard to do. Take off the door panel on the inside, and just take your time with everything. There are basically four torx bolts holding the entire top half (the aluminum part) of the door and window in place. Once these four bolts are removed, the entire top half of the door, including the window, regulator, and motor comes out as one unit.
Detach all of the wiring for the various door components carefully so as to not break any of the retaining clips that secure the harnesses to the frame of the door. I've done it a couple of times, so I can help you out if you get stuck!
