Default Turn signal relay went out on me...anyone replaced theirs?

Dealer wants me to wait three weeks to bring it in and have it replaced. No thanks. Sounds like such a minor problem, but I pissed a lot of people off driving today. I guess people don't pay attention to hand signals anymore.

Anyone know where the relay is located? When I used to hear the click, it sounded like it was coming from behind the dash. But I hope it's located in an easy spot so I can change it myself.

Default This tech article explains how to access the relays

Pissed off a lot of drivers by not signalling, eh? Guess you don't live in Cali- par for the course here.

https://www.audiworld.com/tech/int10.shtml</a

Default In Houston that thing could be busted for years and you'd never know....

No one signals especially for the famous "take the highway right-hand exit from the far left lane".

The use of turn signals is a sign of weakness. Likewise, eye contact must also be avoided.

Default I do live in Cali. Norcal.

Go figure, when my signals were working, I never used them all that much, with no real problems.

The day the relay breaks, I have three people flash me for turning in front of them without a signal. Now that is par for the course.

Thanks for the link, but I still don't know where the relay is exactly. Do you have any idea?

Default Figures. Probably costs more because of it.

Anyone know how to get access to remove the hazard switch?

Default The relay for the turn signal is in the hazardous lights switch

I had the same problem in an A4. dealer put in a new triangle switch and that solved the problem.
