we're 99% of the way there. its not piggy back. do the whole thing on your own.
read my s4wiki front to back
there are ebay flashing tools (kwp2000) that will flash via obd.
tunerpro is free. I have a .xdf for mbox.
the only thing remaining is for me to get off my *** and write a noob guide to tuning me7

also read this (requires registration).

Alex, best of luck. I'm growing sick of all the BS being thrown around.
A LOT of people over-inflate their numbers here, and for what? I've seen some recent claims of a 3.2 sec FATS for an OTS stg 3. That's not happening on a full weight car with an OTS tune IMO. People have such high expectations from the GT turbos because of this, and when it fails to meet their expectations they proceed to hate against it.
A 2.6 is very fast, and you've got the added rev-range on top of that. I'd imagine that its a blast to drive and the fact that it pulls that fast throught the FATS range, and keeps going is just silly. You're happy with it, that's what matters.
Its unfortunate that you don't hear or see too much from those that have GT's, it would be nice to see the information and the experiences. I don't intend on staying with my set-up long term (its lasted longer than I had expected) and I'd like to know what I'm getting myself into with any of the options out there.

Because they don't know how the current state of tuning began
K04s have had a lot of development time and have gotten faster in the last 4 years that I've been here and I know some of you guys can attest to that having been here longer. GTs will require work and time just the same and jealousy is often a springboard for criticism. Alex I hope you don't let the immature individuals on this forum sway you from what we're all really here to accomplish-advancing one of the greatest Audis ever made
