Default Update to Tip Recoding
I did it on my car (GIAC Tip) and it works. 000022 is the code to use. Car will auto shift to 2nd still when you let off the gas some. If gas is maintained in 1st, the Tranny will hold it in 1st gear. Kinda nice to have I guess.

Default There has got to be code like the A4 Tip. That one would hold 1st
even if you lifted. Hmm. Someone have access to an A4 Tip?

The '00, '01, '01.5 were DBW. I had a '99.5 NDBW and a '00 DBW both Tip.

Default Well,
with the recode, you can stay in first longer than just 8mph with constant gas. This mod allows you to stay in first longer without being at WOT.

Default Have you heard from DSR about the tip chip yet? did you try the 000012 to see how the sport mode
works in the D positions?

I kind of like the 000022 setting. Give it a try. I expect to hear something from DSR by end of this week.

I was just wondering if anyone had tried it. I wonder if there is code that combines both features.
