Well here is some more info.
GIAC usually has two different engine power level chips for most of the 2.7t's. With the lower power chips the gear hunting is not likely.
Guess which chip most people choose?

Chaung's transmission is being stored by me...
I believe his price is $2200. Since you are local, shipping would not be an issue.
I can also tell you ALL about Level10 as my own transmission is a Level10 piece, and I have dealt extensively with these folks during development. (I also have a full APR Stage III kit.)

Well since I have been in the APR stock mode about 280HP...
the tranny has had no problems. I have been on it pretty hard and it has not given me any problems. Lets hope it stays that way. When it is in chipped mode I'm running 320 hp at the wheels and the tranny can't take it. I guess I found my limit until I upgrade the tiptronic to a Level 10 one.
