be careful when you park anywhere near 280,78, or
the parkway. These are the three main roads
that they use to get away. They always take 280 east into newark. Never any cops on that part of
280 and once they get into newark they are home
free. I would say 85% of car thefts around here
end up in newark. In some parts of newark you
will have no problem parking the car on the side
of the road and striping it right there. Have seen
that at least 15 times. Just be careful when you
are near these roads.

one of those kids at the dealership he can pull your info. I to know some people that worked at a large performance shop in the LA area. When your car was in the shop, they would scan and code your alarm (this was back in early 90's) copy your keys. Because you left them your address they would look it up, cruise around, and if you parked outside they would take the car. You guys should be very wary of people who are in a position to get your address, because if someone puts out an order for your car, the probability of you getting hit is much higher.

For those of you who don't know, Nutley is in the Northern-most section of Essex County, a 5 mile trip from Newark/Irvington( how convenient ). Overall, I'd say I'm taking this VERY, VERY well considering the love I had for that car and ALL of the nice cars I've ever owned. I am going to lose a ton of money on this damn thing because I don't want it even if they find it so I'm going to have to have it repaired then try and get out of the lease or something... can anyone share their post-theft experiences as far as insurance/banks are concerned? Thanks for all your help and support in advance. Unfortunately, this has dampened the spirit of ever owning another B5 platform S4.
