not AWFUL, but the rotors have been on their way out for a while
I put some EBC greenstuff in there about 6 months back to hold me over, knowing I'd be buying StopTechs in the near future. I did, but 3 months later, still can't put 'em on
Now I find that there is noticeable uneven wear across the rotor, and quite the lip at the edge. The rears are STaSIS 298s that are just a couple months old.
Where in CA are you? A few hours north, south, east? I'm in San Diego.

Made 80 Calls at my work to get a claim finally processed....
I finally told the central district manager, we were shiping everything FedEx from now on, unless this is taken care of in 7 days.
He caved and personally brought out a check for $1,600.
They dropped a compressor, on its way to Dominican.
We did everything by the book. Insurance, foreign docs, packaging, etc.
UPS owns (purchased a couple years ago) the insurance company that insures its freight.
DON'T LET THIS BEHAVIOR ON THEIR PART SLIDE.
KEEP FOLLOWING UP WITH IT.
The amount is not signifigant, thats why they make soo much money on the insurance unit, because they never pay. Its principals, not the money.
Talk to a "central district manager" who is responsible for all packages in your area. Tell him "the business you bought from packs everything perfectly".
Oh wait, my bad, you siad USPS not UPS. Oops sorry. Yep your screwed, sorry. They are even worse than post offices in Mexico.

I'm near Fresno.
I normally go to Wicked for all my work. It's about a 3 hour drive or so for me. I'm actually going to be in the area this Friday finishing up some headrest monitors for the kids. Think about the offer and I can leave the brakes with Mike at WMS if you want them to install for you temporarily.

I went through this last winter
I had shipped a RC glider and I think the USPS drove over it with a truck. Well after a lot of research I found a number the let me talk directly too the claims department (e-mail me if you want the number). After two months of the run around and countless calls and letters all of a sudden I recieved a check for the full price of a replacment glider which was more then I had it insured for. All I can say is document everything......and call at least once if not twice a week. There system gives you a code every time you call. I really think they look at the number of calls and pay the squeeky wheel....it worked for me.
Cheers,
Jim
