I used to drive an e36 M3 which had great road feel, sharp handling and a tight chassis. Ever since I got the S4 my goal was to make it feel as close to the M3 as possible. The S4 seemed to insulate the driver from the road.

The driveline stabilizer has made a huge difference in the feel of the car. The tranny lash is completely gone.

A friend of mine, who drives a boxster, and I switched rides for an hour yesterday. He couldn't stop raving about how buttoned down the shifter feel was, and how quickly and smoothly he could swap gears. I was amazed at how little I enjoyed his boxster.

This is one of my favorite mods!
