I searched the archives, and couldnt find a thing, so I figured, Id ask you guys why is the shifter leaning to the right?
And what can I do to get rid of the play that is still there?
Thanks

There should'nt be much if any play in the linkage. You may need to tighten and re-adjust
the shifter. I have mine set so when the shifter is in neutral, it's in the middle top to bottom, and pushing straight up is 3rd and straight down is 4th.

Are you sure the top of the shaft is attached correctly?
The first time I installed the UUC shifter, it mis-read the instructions and ended up installing the top piece 180 degrees off angle. It had a pronounced list to the passenger side of the car. I took it apart again and corrected the problem by rotating the top piece and re-attaching it.

Re: UUC shifter leaning to the right
The shifter can definitely be adjusted!
The adjustment is the hex-bolt that holds the UUC lower linkage to the original linkage in the car. There is a plate that covers the two sections and all are held together with that hex-bolt.
By loosening that bolt and moving the lever a bit and then re-tighteneing, you can adjust the neutral position of the shifter.
