Don't know if I should keep my stock summer tires and mount them on new 17" mags for the summer or get rid of them and step up to 18". It all depends on how much the ride will suffer with the 18's compared to stock. Please give me your input. Thanks

I really have to spend more time on it but
My wife said first thing that She feels more
comfortable than stock 17s. I do not know why but
I do feel the same way...However, it is louder.
HTH...let you know more later

The same thing happened to me on my previous car, a '93 Honda Prelude. I installed lower profile tires with larger wheels, and the ride quality improved! The reason is that your BBS wheels are very light, and this decrease in unsprung weight does benefit ride. Essentially, there is less momentum over road imperfections. This would not be the case if you purchased, larger and heavier wheels.
