vac line in accordion hose?? <Long>
ok so i purchased a abd big bore at waterfest which if you haven't seen is a replacement for the accordion connection between the y pipe and the maf. So i installed it and found that my accordion has a vac line which is attached in the bottom of this plastic accordion hose. My questions are
1. is this the brake booster line
2. does the vacuum line need to be after the maf or can it just be fit with its own filter
3. does anyone have this extra line in there car (mine is a 2001.5)

it's never okay to leave a vac line open. Probably want to look into some type of
catch can or other, it's just part of the smog device I think since oil blows thru there
..
