VAG COM "Dyno" (Block 120/122 problems and questions)...
I used my friend's VAG COM to run a block 120 "dyno" on my car. My top HP was 221, which I figured might be right since the dealership wants to replace my turbos and MAF next week (definitly could account for a 30 HP drop from stock). Then I did a block 122 run with another friend's 2000 GTI VR6. He has cams, exhaust, and a cold air intake but only logged 161 as a top HP (13 horses less than stock). Just didn't seem right. I used (1 N-m = 0.737562 lbf-ft) and (power = [[torque in lbf-ft * RPM] / 5252]), are both of these equations correct? Did I miss something? I know these aren't the most accurate, but it seems to be off very dramatically. Thanks for your help.
