vag-com and giac

can you use vag-com to do anything with a giac chip? turn on or off? anthing?

i dont know about vag com, but if your car does have the chip, and you got it from AWE, you get free lifetime upgrades that will get you the cable to change your setting.

Naw sir. You need the fancy AWE chip programmer cable for the giac. You could reprogram over the vagcom cable, but you need lots of software and what not.

can use unisettings or lemmiwinks to change some stuff. but if you're asking that question, i would be REALLY careful what you do, you can seriously mess stuff up.
