Default VAG com for locked up front pass. brake

my brakes have recently locked up on the passenger side front actually catching on fire. i have had an ABS light on my dash since i got my GIAC chip hooked up. I ran a scan on the car to see what it returned because my brake inspection showed everything was working fine. here is what concerns me:
it sent back a few codes. the ABS was scanned first and returned one code. when i deleted the code
"18256-please check DTC Memory of engine controller P1848-35-00--"
it would instantly return. When I checked engine module fault codes there were 4 codes but only two caused me concern
"18020-engine control module incorrectly coded P1612-35-00--" and
""18014-rough road/engine torque signal from ABS: electrical malfunction P1606-35-10--intermittent"
the "rough road" code was deleated and didnt return but the ecm incorrectly coded would pop right back up.
also for some reason the radio returned a fault code "65535-internal control module memory error00-00--.
is this an issue that my chip caused? they sent an email saying for some reason it might throw codes and would have to be returned to them so i think this might be their fault and nothing to do with the car messing up on its on. let me know what you think and what the "rough road code thing is. thanks in advance--Nick Copeland

Default Call me an idiot...

...but it sounds like someone loaded the incorrect code into your ECU.

Default You need to recode your ECU...

Same thing happened to me when I sent my ECu out for new programming.

For a 2001 6 Speed you need to.

Under Engine
Login: 11463 (enables ESP)
Recode: 06711 (enables CC)

Clear DTCs and you are set.

To enable ESP with the VAG:
Engine --> Recode with value 06711

To enable cruise control:
Engine --> Login 11463

If you don't have a 6 speed, can't help you.

Default There must be, except when I got new ECU SW it was both ESP and ABS that was disabled..

Can always disable ESP from dash (turn off ESP button).

i'm pretty sure they did. they said it might throw codes for some reason or another but they will redo it for me today when i send it back to them. its just aggrivating to go through this with them.

Make sure you have them code your ABS and ESP this time.
