Default Guy who bought my dad's 3rd gen RX-7 had the same problem. It may be a problem with your unit. He
said Valentine has a fix for it.

Have you called up tech support?

Default 2nd - not in my car but when I brought my 8500 x50 with me on a road trip
out in Cali - took a volvo station wagon V70? and realized that the laser would go off anytime the horn was beeped.

lol yeah, sometimes if i touch the front laser eye with my finger it triggers also :/

Mine used to trip out laser randomly. Sent it back and they replaced it.

it does it with the laptop at home just the same, gets worse with a/c on, so i think its the volts

Default Or you could just recrimp/make another one. Sounds like the cable is just failing.
