O2 concentration at altitude is the same as sea level. The air density is what decreases w/ alt.

Default Procharged z06 does, take a look

622 RWHP on 6 psi stock LS7
587 RWHP on 4.5 psi stock LS7
820 RWHP on 14.5 psi race version on some engine work

Now you tell me what a 3150 lbs car runs with 622 whp. Go drive one then run your mouth about it.

Default lol.....i've been in one,,,,.

a 10 sec/135 mph car at it. There is a big difference between a rolling race with one at SEA LEVEL compared to one at 4k feet elevation. Go drive one at that altitude.....then get back to me about it and then maybe, just maybe.....i won't run my mouth. LOL

It's very VERY easy to see how a Jerbel car more than kept up with it.....under those conditions (off a launch which gives the S4 a HUGE advantage) and that elevation. Duh.......

Default Exactly, if the air density decreases, then by the very nature of the content of the air, the O2...

concentration must also decrease. That is why athletes have a harder time at higher altitude, because they must breath in more air in order to take in an equal amount of O2 and oxygenate their muscles.

All he is saying is that the concentration is the same. 21% O2 in air no matter what altitude.

Default 2nd. It's because turbos can keep the wastegates closed and spin more to try to keep the

boost up. S/C can't speed up to compensate for altitude since they run a fixed ratio to the crank.

Default In your theory makes no sense both are FI cars!!!! Here is a STOCK C6 Z06 run 10's

All I am saying is that a 93 octane map k04 S4 will not stand a chance against a pro charged Z vette.

http://www.autoblog.com/2007/12/05/10-second-stock-c6-corvette-z06-on-run-flats/</a
