Hi guys,

my gf just put down a purchase for a VM3 exhaust and just to be sure that she actually bought the rite system, I would like to verify the real diff. btw these 3 versions

THose who have VM3 now, how loud is the exhaust. Supposedly, it is less loud than the VM1 / VM2 but does it still have that deep rumble that VM1/2 produces?

I've heard the prototype VM3 that was smokin_s4's that now belongs to XR8DS4. VM3 is like a shiny VM1 with better looking tips. Its pretty damn loud, though it is a tad quieter then the VM1. don't worry, it doesn't sound like a bee's nest 4 banger with ana open exhaust...although i'm sure george@bostonaudi (who heard it while it was still on smokin_s4's car would disagree)...
VM2 was a mutipieced fitment hell from what i've read. never herad it though.

about as loud as my VM2 but it also had a raspier tone. I don't think the VM1 or VM3 have the fitment issues of the VM2.

I thought that the VM3 sounded a little quieter than that VM2, but that was from outside the car.

Hmm...does it still retain the rumble of the VM1/2. How much quieter is it?

Not much quieter. And yes, it still has the rumble. Sounds nice if you ask me.
