Default Walbro Fuel pump is about to die... can't find which pump to replace it with.

So my Walbro fuel pump is making a whining noise and when I go WOT at higher RPM the O2s lean out. (the injector times goes through the roof.) This was not a problem a few months ago with the same setup. It looks like that the pump is dying.

So from what I remember the fuel pump that I have is this (Walbro 255 w/ bracket):

However I don't know the exact pump model.

I think it's GSS340 [high pressure 255] but I am not sure.

Other Walbro pumps: In March 2004, Walbro introduced a version of the Gen-II pump with a new inlet. The pickup was offset to one side, like many of the GM vehicles on the road. The following photo shows the OE F-body pump, the GSS340 and the new F20000169 pump.

So does anyone know if the GSS340 is the right pump and where I can get it ASAP?

Default If your mount only has an opening in the center then thats what you need.

Otherwise it doesn't matter.

If the first Walbro pump failed on you (not an uncommon occurrence, from what I read), why not upgrade to a Bosch Motorsport 044 pump?

Default Get the Bosch Motorsports 044 pump. The thing is massive and wont b*tch out like the Walbro

EPL just posted they got their pump shipment in. I believe ASP and 034 also sell the pump. Not sure if those are drop in though. I got mine from EPL and it was drop in.

Default Drop-in pump and basket, fully assembled:

I believe the parts pricing just went up so there will likely be a price increase soon.<ul><li><a href="https://www.eplabs.net/shop/product_info.php?cPath=1_28_34_32&amp;products_id= 48">https://www.eplabs.net/shop/product_info.php?cPath=1_28_34_32&amp;products_id= 48</a</li></ul>
