Default Macro function on camera would be nice, good enough though...

I believe this is the same failure mode seen in NASAracer's car.

I'm not sure what the concensus then was, but either those blades are melting (wayyyy too hot maybe) or that is FOD damage.

I think if the blades melt, there may be a material issue with the blades (i.e. manufacturer error). This is not typical failure by the way...turbos blade should not and do not melt.

Even overheating as seen with turbos operating above their efficiency range generally results in warpage of the shaft leading to siezing up or catastrophic failure.
