had this problem and know a solution?

my bros wife used to have this POS chrysler that always said, "the door is ajar" when the door was open...we made a joke out of it...is it a door, or a jar??

Default The door latch switch sticks. Spray LIBERALLY with PB Blaster or some other good spray lubricant.
Get it up into the door from the latch area. Worked for me.

Default ^^^^^. What he said. Worked for me as well. Let it really soak. Chances are you don't need a new
door latch.
