you should bring the exhaust manufacturer into the deal. Call AoA and tell them the story, tell them you aren't chipped and have never been, and tell them by Moss-Magnusen (warranty law) they need to prove the exhaust caused the failure. I would also mention your knowledge of S4 turbo failures and that you would "like to settle this ammicably, before you have to get the Better Business Bureau, the NTSB (complaint can be filed) and a lawyer involved, let alone your local media".
A little fear in their hearts will work wonders. You may need a lawyer, but you will get that money back one way or another (court or settlement).

we all know that there tons of S4 owners out there (with or without madd mods), who dont post on AW (i can confirm that too). so we can't be too judgemental yet.
