My next door neighbor is a WSP Trooper, early this morning, he was washing his cruiser, I walk out, and do likewise, we talked back and forth, and when I was done washing my car, he came up with the idea that the police cruiser was much faster than the Audi S4, I told him thats BS, and asked if I coul drive it to make sure, he said sorry, no can do, its a government vehicle, SO I say w/e, and he chalenges me to a race... okay, now most of you may be thinking, that cop is bad... bad cop, but hes a cool guy, and his wife is a cop too, so it works out. We went to a street that is right next to an abandoned air strip, and did it there. As soon as we took off, I was ahead by maybe 2 cars, between 40-60 he passed me and was ahead of my by 3-4 car lengths. Then he did the ricer trick, and turned on his sirens. Damn, I didnt know that they were so powerfull, it was a regular looking Ford Crown Victoria police interceptor... what do they have under the hood?

Anyway, cool guy, we kinda played cops and robbers on the way home.. His daily driver is a 03 BMW 325CI.

afaik, the state the p71 cruisers have a bunch more hp than the locals. is he state?

Maybe its cammed and the car has different gears and a built tranny but definitely no FI, and I don't think they put LT1's or LS1's in those things. Maybe the interceptors are a lot different...
