Default HOLY ****, IT'S NOT ON THEIR WEB SITE!!!???... then it must not exist!

And if you can't find it in a google search, then there's no such thing!

Marc at AMS had to adjust the wastegates on my out-of-the-box KO4's that were already on the car because they were WAAAY out of whack. He also did plenty of other work to get my car sorted out and hauling ***. If you have serious questions why not give him a ring instead of crying bull**** on an internet forum?

your other post

Default You missed the point !!!!!

Show me one place where this is disscussed as part of a chip/turbo install. I have nothing but respect for Marc. Yet I see NO tuner include this info in their chip/turbo package. Shure I could call Marc but since its found to be out of adjustment so often why not give the customers the heads up?

https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1838337.phtml</a

Default I think I've got a pretty good handle on it.

Bottom line is that the guys who know their "sh*t" go through the motions and check things like wastegate adjustment. It's not something that needs to be widely discussed. Maybe guys like Marc don't want to talk in depth about things which have taken them a lot of time and sweat to learn. For example, I learned the hard way: after my car got out of the body shop in NYC, I had a small shop do the installation of my turbos and other parts; they didn't know to check the wastegates.

I don't know why a chip retailer would go out of their way to mention wastegate adjustment with the purchase of KO3 software. Beyond that, anyone who goes beyond the boundaries of factory power and buys a "stage three", packaged kit will hopefully have the smarts to have their car worked on by a reputable shop. I should have known better than to go to a backyard operation, but that's shame on me, not shame on them.
