My car has been sitting outside in the parking lot for the past few hours in a pretty steady rain. When I went out to go to lunch, I noticed a considerable amount of water in my driver's side door sill. I mean a puddle of water, not just dampness -- it kind of spilled out when I opened the door.

The last time I washed the car, I also noticed <b>quite</b> a bit of water in all four door sills (along with soap suds, etc.). Is ths experience normal?

I got water there on all 4 door sills...messed up the bright aluminum cladding..sounds like normal..

I usually let water run down (not spray) to rinse the suds off when I wash the car. I notice the water on all four door sills during my final wipe-offs with 100% cotton terry cloth...its normal.
