Default Waterfest Pics and short storyline... including Paul's illusive casablanca widebody:P *lots-o-pics*

We started early in the AM. Myself, ECD212 and Jay_SB left from downtown manhattan on our way to E-Town in Paul's "casablanca widebody"

<img src="http://images10.fotki.com/v201/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00219-vi.jpg">

Once on the turnpike we officially begun our WATERfest experience

<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v180/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00220-vi.jpg">

After arriving, we waited for the gates to open - seeking shelter in the "casablanca widebody" during sparatic showers.

Once through the gates we first came across APR's Renegade Stacker trailer and toterhome. Steven, if you're reading this: Remember at Road Atlanta a couple years back, I commented on how you guys should look into a Renegade stacker and you replied: "na, those things are crap... if we're gonna get something it'll be a featherlite, etc...". LOL! Nice rig, nonetheless.

<img src="http://images10.fotki.com/v201/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00272-vi.jpg">

What's up with this S3? Did that thing hit every branch when it fell out of the "shadetree" or what!

Looks good from far...
<img src="http://images10.fotki.com/v201/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00221-vi.jpg">

Interesting mounting plate and wiring
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v189/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00222-vi.jpg">

SawZalls ROCK!
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v182/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00223-vi.jpg">

SawZalls REALLY ROCK!
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v189/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00226-vi.jpg">

I'm digging the stock cluster and the liberal use of zip ties to keep it in place
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v182/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00225-vi.jpg">

Interesting placement of the cutoff switch... and I may be nutz, but is that thing connected to any wires?
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v180/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00227-vi.jpg">

I use zip ties too
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v188/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00228-vi.jpg">

Okay, maybe not quite as many zip ties as you guys - nice probe, BTW.
<img src="http://images10.fotki.com/v201/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00229-vi.jpg">

Good choice on the 17's! Very nice brakes, shocks/springs! I got a foggy idea from looking at the spring coils that you guys don't have a lot of rate in this car... maybe ~800 F/R? Very cool intake horn, BTW! Somebody said you guys ran it at Infineon? I'd be interested in knowing what it ran the ALMS config. in...
<img src="http://images10.fotki.com/v202/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00230-vi.jpg">

This "thing" was interesting. Notice the removal of the gas door for the emergency cutoff switch:
<img src="http://images10.fotki.com/v200/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC232-vi.jpg">

Redeaming feature:
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v190/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00232-vi.jpg">

I think that's an RCI cell, but at least the dry sump stuff is coolnexx.
I looked behind the aluminum blockoff plates they fabbed and all the factory sound deadening and wire harness is still there :O Come on, folks! BTW, the suspension and chassis on this car was REALLY disappointing - basically stock.
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v188/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00233-vi.jpg">

Bonus points for clean interior!
<img src="http://images10.fotki.com/v200/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00234-vi.jpg">

What it is
<img src="http://images10.fotki.com/v200/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00235-vi.jpg">

"Wannabe" pretty much sums this thing up...
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v182/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00237-vi.jpg">

I saw this a lot - four point harnesses bolted to the same eyelet bolt... guys that will NOT pass tech mmmkay!
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v190/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00236-vi.jpg">

Pretty P.I.M.P.
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v172/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00238-vi.jpg">

REVO BAAAABY!
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v182/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00239-vi.jpg">

By FAR the P.I.M.P.est ride at WATERfest. Mostly due to the PIMP qualitay of the driver
<img src="http://images10.fotki.com/v201/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00241-vi.jpg">

Take me, Neil! TAKE ME NOW!!!! Nice seeing you Neil, sorry we weren't able to stop back by... that south american-esk rain shower prohibited our return to the AW booth
<img src="http://images10.fotki.com/v200/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00240-vi.jpg">

Mmmmmm. APR almost had the nicest trailer there. Falken and Nitto got the most points for "dislpay"
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v189/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00242-vi.jpg">

Next stop, Achtuning!

This thing caught my eye right off the bat! VERY nicely done, Josh and crew - the Achtuning OCK:
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v188/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00243-vi.jpg">

The 2nd thang that caught my eye - so close to a GREAT shot:
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v190/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00244-vi.jpg">

This seat will one day make it into my car... even if I have to steal/cheat and possibly kill to get it:
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v182/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00245-vi.jpg">

Josh, Jacob and Cable had the best view from their booth so therefore, that's where we spent most of our time :P
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v174/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00247-vi.jpg">

The "Bang Magnum"... watch out!

<img src="http://images10.fotki.com/v200/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00248-vi.jpg">

I think it served as a better A/C oasis and nap-time getaway for the Achtuning party animals. Jacob in recovery:
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v189/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00279-vi.jpg">

Nice B6 A4 with super nice Garrett conversion:
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v188/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00254-vi.jpg">

Super nice was the BOLT and RMO (Random Metal Object) blocking the open vacuum lines:
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v189/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00253-vi.jpg">

I was skeptical at first, but this car was pretty badass!
<img src="http://images10.fotki.com/v201/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00255-vi.jpg">

Same car... I haven't seen this intake before:
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v180/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00256-vi.jpg">

<img src="http://images10.fotki.com/v201/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00257-vi.jpg">

VW Beetle suspension... pretty cool. Nice inner fender wells too; gotta love attention to detail.
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v182/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00258-vi.jpg">

Induktion booth and customer car (sorry about the attempted theft... that sucks so bad!)
Ed, it was really nice meeting you and I'll have my E46 buddy get in touch with you!
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v190/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00262-vi.jpg">

Again, Josh, Jacob and Cable had THE best view!

Circle back to AWE and the Bullet

oops how did this pic get in there
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v189/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00266-vi.jpg">

No pun intended
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v182/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00267-vi.jpg">

I tried to weed through the thickest crowd at the show to say hi, but it was futile... will catch you next time, Mike and Todd. Stalker pic for affect:
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v180/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00268-vi.jpg">

In case you give a rat's *** about Nitto's new tire... "There's a tire there"?
<img src="http://images10.fotki.com/v200/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00269-vi.jpg">

Back to APR's S3... did you guys lose an exhaust hanger in that pimpy trailer?
<img src="http://images10.fotki.com/v202/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00270-vi.jpg">

Noice! I "clicked" the rebound adjuster just for sh*ts and giggles :P
<img src="http://images10.fotki.com/v200/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00271-vi.jpg">

Failed attempt at targeting a passing hottie with the camera. My jedi camera skillz have a lot to be desired
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v188/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00273-vi.jpg">

We were trying to remember whose car this is - black painted roof
<img src="http://images9.fotki.com/v189/photos/6/681510/2439417/DSC00275-vi.jpg">

Troy, put these things in already! Yes, they seriously are pre-lubed :P

PEPSI ROCKS!

Default Thankfully we has the Casa widebody and Quattro

We would've been screwed in the rain without the allroad mod.
