Well, after 8.5 years of owner ship I JUST learned 2 things <more>
1. How NOT to jack up the car
2. How to destroy a pinch weld
I've been changing my wheels since I've bought the car and this time I just wasn't paying close enough attention. I'm so pissed at myself!!

or use a hockey puck

I thought I had the jack sufficiently under the weld...
after I had the car almost high enough for a jackstand the **** slipped and 'peeled' the layers of the pinch weld apart. Then the jack decided to bury itself into the actual body panel that curves under the car (not sure of the name).
