Asking price may not be selling price...
...I would ask $29k to sell my '00 with 78k miles, and there's a fair number of scratches and chips in the paint and wheels that detract from its beauty even though it's not an abused car despite my heavy right foot and all the times it's had to be operated upon. Of course, I don't think anyone would pay that, and if I "had to" sell, I'd have to take a lot less.
