they refer to it as their Stage III clutch...
...apparently they take an RS4 clutch and line it with kevlar, as well as reworking an OEM pressure plate to provide more friction. Well, I finally got through to David after holding more than half an hour. He hung up on me.
He told me he had never had any problems with this clutch. He said he has never heard of anything like this with their products. I repeated in to confirm I understood what he was saying. Then, when I provided a couple names from people I've spoken with on AW along with some VERY specific details regarding this problem they have also had, he said something like, "If this call is to question my character...."
He wasn't happy when I started using specific names and situations. Hmmm...guess David pissed off the wrong guy. Keep an eye out for another post from me in a couple weeks. David received a letter from my attorney and will likely read it in the next day or two. I don't think he's smart enough to respond.
