Went down to only 6lbs of boost ... Shut off car, went in store, came out, back to normal?!....

Went down to only 6lbs of boost ... Shut off car, went in store, came out, back to normal?!....
What the hell is wrong here? .. All of the sudden the car was only putting out 6lbs of boost as opposed to the normal 15-20. I didn't hear anything wrong, didn't smell anything, no warning lights either .. Then just worked again .. What went wrong?

Something weird like that is happening with me..
When I first get in the car, it is boosting all over the place. Back slapping speed. Then it just goes away. No lights no nothing. I will be trying the VAG tomorrow.

Boost limp mode, often from a pressure deviation
It resets itself key-off, key-on, so you don't go into limp mode until it happens again. Pressure deviations can occur from boost leaks, etc. A DTC will be stored so you have to check with VAG tool to confirm what exactly happened.
