Default strange, 10nm should be 10nm..

You would _think_ anyway

With our coolant, the paper gasket is probably better than the metal for not seeping. I can't remember what mine is, I just know I don't have the lame plastic T-stat housing. ;P

We're doing pretty good. I'll be out on a work trip for the next two weeks starting tomorrow. If I had an extra day at the end of this coming week I'd swing by your area for a bit to catch up. Charlotte area is kinda the wrong way on a 3 day Shelbyville, TN to Brownsville, TX leg, map says I could do it, but it'd be cutting it _really_ close for only an hour or so to hang out. extra 800 miles, :/ still tempting

Hopefully I'll get to meet up with Donnie when I'm in TN, I should probably get in touch with him soon

Default hah! lightweight t-stat housing! Advanced polymer design promotes easier flow for more power!

How's the family holding up to your S4 work? Other than the dirty floor

Default Man it has taken me almost 2 weeks to do what I could have knocked out in maybe 4 days...

Even took a week off from work ... "bring me lunch" ... "can you get the daughter" ... "have a picnic tonight" ... "sister is in town" ... "Labor day is a holiday and we are doing something special" ... "the engine can come out with the axles in" heh. Everyone held up fine. I'm sure I'll owe the wife something after all this, but her car is back in the garage tonight ;-)

Its buttoned up as before now. Going to the neighbors tomorrow to adjust the exhaust on his lift. Shakeout continues.

Default Hehe, it's like they think it'll go away if they pester you enough

At least her car is back in the garage, that's probably the biggest thing

Mine _did_ come out with the axles in and stock DPs on, went back in with axles in place, but no DPs.

You can see the scrape on the subframe/swaybar from the tail of the drivers side dp, ooooops.

Helped with a few axle in pulls, can't imagine doing it alone, no way, just yank em.

Default Lol, Scott and I had the thing 1/2 way out when we realized it wasn't happening with the DPs and

tranny mounts attached. Had the DPs off in maybe 5 min heh. Tranny mounts took a bit longer(no 17mm hex handy either). Learned alot I must admit, like always check the drivers side coolant line for an extra stuck crush washer before tightening everything down... and your speedo and fuel gauge wont work righ if you've unplugged the vss connector while fighting with the slave cyl on reassy. Liking the exhaust combo Nick. Thx for the feedback - can't wait to go ***** out on it =-)

Default Looks good from the pic above, glad you like the exhaust, I've been happy with it

getting WAY too loud now that the muffler batting is dead, but hey, it was $300 3 years ago.

Good to hear you didn't have too much trouble, and you got the starter fixed, I didn't have any good advice for that, all gloom and doom :/ Hope it all keeps working well, you deserve it for handling all the install delays

This board SO needs a FAQ. This EXACT question comes up at least once a month.

Quick Reply: what, in addition to the ECS timing belt kit, is recommended for replacement during TB/WP service?
