Default What APR program to use for '01 S4 for 92 octane gas?

Have APR ECU with EMCS and live in Seattle area where octane is 92. Should I be using 91 octane program or 93 octane program?

Default Do a search... but...

I say do this:

When ambient temperatures are high, run the 91 profile. When they're lower, run 93. If you get a chance, log timing retard. If it's pulling timing substantially, stick with 91.

BTW: This question comes up with regularity.

Default No question - use the 91. Because if you are on the edge, as soon as the ECU hears detonation it

will yank all the timing out and the car will fall on its face about 4,500-5,000 rpm. You will think it sucks, and you will not be happy. The 91 programming is WAY faster than the 93 programming when the car detonates.
