Default What besides igniters would cause misfires on cyl 1,2, and 3....

i was accelerating yesterday and got a stumble and flashing cel. Vag com says misfire on cyl 1, 2 and 3. Only thing i can think of that would cause this would be the igniters (the little black squares on the airbox). any suggestions?

Default 2nd on the EGT sensor. Could be an O2 sensor as well.

Unfortunately O2s & EGTs tend to be sporadically flakey before they completely fail and consistently throw DTCs. Just pull codes ever couple days to see if you can track down the problem.

Are you positive the misfires are limited to just one bank? A flashing CEL requires LOTS of misfires.

Default I got the same thing while accelerating... having it checked out now.

Misfires on 1,2,3. I also have the EGT code thrown repeatedly even after clearing.
