Default I like to use 60 grit sand paper and acetone.

God forbid, I say vinegar and a light duty steel wool.

Default Also, Griot's has a product for exactly this purpose.

I've never used this particular product, but the rest of the Griot's stuff is pretty good, so I'd imagine this works as advertised.

Griot's Glass Polish

Default Rain-X window polish is my favorite

That thing takes EVERYTHING off, I am always most amazed. Just be careful, it's white goo, and needs to be flushed off with a lot of water, both from car as well as clothes.
