What can I use to remove hard water stains from the windshield?

I use it in so many ways myself... it works as a light duty solvent to remove sticky residue, tar, tree sap, etc. w/o harming the paint. AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT!

There are two rain-x's: The orange bottle, being the water repellant. BTW don't use it on your side mirrors, will dissolve the blue tint. Anyway, this is not what I am talking about.
They also make a Window Polish. White bottle with rather thick white content, and a blue label on it, with white / yellow lettering. It is somewhat harder to get, but you can get it (e.g., local Pep Boys). Very awesome stuff. I am probably the most **** person about windows, and this thing lives up to my standards =)

none the less, standard Rain-X is truly quite versatile as I had stated - thanks for clarifying your post.
