What can you do with a pair of virgin KO3s in terms of making more power? Anything?

did they come with turbine housings or did you use your existing ones

Default everything has a chance to fail - if K04s werent an option, id go K03 hybrids over straight K03s

its not my personal preferance either, but some people dont wanna dump $2500 into new turbos.

im still trying to figure out wtf to do with my K04s - definitely want the hot sides clearanced and extrude honed, not sure if im gonna go with RS6 comp wheels or leave the K04 wheels though.

Use them in a sequential setup to spool something REALLY big ;-)

Mine are plain jane KO4s. None of the hot side hone junk done to my car.

Default K03/K04 hybrids sound like they'd fit your needs.

Even better are K03 housings with both K04 compressor wheel *and* K04 turbine wheel ,which is what 1SeriousPig is referring to in this thread. Another option is K03/K16...or K03s with K16 compressor wheel and K04 turbine wheel, although I've never heard of anyone doing this.

This brings me to another question....

If people can make K03/K16s, why not make K03/RS6s...or even K03s with RS6 compressor wheels and K04 turbine wheels. I bet that would be pretty cool?
